Cobo Ceramic Workshop offers classes from Monday to Saturday for students at all levels.
Beginners will learn how to prepare a clay and use different hand building techniques, starting from pinching, coiling to slab building to make various forms of mugs, containers and even sculpture. Hand building techniques are great for free form potteries.
After you become familiar with hand building or if you are already an intermediate student, you can learn throwing on the potter’s wheels to create more regular forms of ceramic potteries such as mugs, bowls, plates and vases.
Our regular classes are conducted once a week commencing at the beginning of each month. However, we also offer floating classes for students who need more flexibility.
Our classes are conducted on an on-going basis. There are a maximum of 10 students per class.
Course fee: HK$1,040 per month (exclude material and firing fees)
Material and Firing fees are charged by weight and volume: Clay $20 per kg, Bisque firing $8 per litre, Hi-temperature firing $12 per litre. Minimum charge for $10 per piece of artwork
